Out of every city that is in the world today, I believe that most Bible believing people would agree that there is no city on this earth, as Jerusalem. It is a revered, Holy City to all three major religions today, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, and it is at the very core of world peace, and the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Jerusalem is probably the only place on this earth today that seems to be a sort of intermediary between earth and heaven itself and is mentioned around one thousand times in Scripture, as the eternal capital of the Almighty Creator Yahweh, and the only city in this world that Yahweh set apart for Himself, and even has chosen to eternally dwell there. The Bible says Israel is the center of the earth, and Jerusalem is the center of Israel, and ground zero to any Bible believing individual, worldwide.

Eze 38:12 in order to spoil a spoil, and to steal a prize, to turn your hand on the inhabited waste places, and on the people gathered out of the nations, producing livestock and goods, who dwell in the center of the earth.

Truly, in this world, there is no second to Jerusalem to any true believer. Jerusalem is the place where the Garden of Eden was placed, and it is also the place that Yahshua will rule from, for His 1,000-year millennial reign. In this lesson, we will look at the importance of the eternal, capital of Yahweh.

Did Yahweh choose out a city, out of all of Israel, to eternally dwell in and to put His name there forever?

2nd Chron 12:13 And King Rehoboam made himself strong in Jerusalem, and reigned. For Rehoboam was a son of forty-one years when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city that YAHWEH had chosen to put His name there, out of all the tribes of Israel. And his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess.

1st Ki 14:21b …. And he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which YAHWEH chose out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. And his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess.

2nd Chron 33:4 And he built altars in the house of YAHWEH, of which YAHWEH had said, In Jerusalem shall be My name forever.

Psa 76:1 Elohim is known in Judah; His name is great in Israel.

Psa 76:2 And His abode is in (Jeru) Salem; and His dwelling-place in Zion.

Psa 135:21 Blessed be YAHWEH out of Zion, He who dwells at Jerusalem. HalleluYah!

Psa 9:11 Sing praises to YAHWEH who dwells in Zion; declare His deeds among the nations.

2nd Chron 6:5 From the day that I brought My people out of the land of Egypt, I have not chosen a city out of any of the tribes of Israel to build a house for My name to be there, and I have not chosen a man to be leader over My people Israel.

2nd Chr 6:6 But I have chosen Jerusalem for My name to be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.

COMMENT: Since Yahweh chose Jerusalem as His eternal capital from creation, it was an extremely sanctified place, and He did not allow any tribe to take control of the city when the Israelites entered the land until there was a righteous seed, in which His Son, the Messiah, would be born through. This is why from about 1450 B.C, when Israel entered the land with Joshua, no tribe of Israel occupied Jerusalem until about the year 1000 B. C., when King David qualified to be king over the city. Jerusalem, did however, have Yahshua ruling in the city as Melchizedek, which is a title for the Righteous King/ Priest. Recently, in Jerusalem, the Tabernacle of David has been discovered where Melchizedek had His sanctuary for sacrifice and worship, which Yahshua would have used. It is the same place where King David placed the Ark of the Covenant.

Mat 5:34 But I say to you, Do not swear at all, neither by Heaven, because it is the throne of Elohim;

Mat 5:35 nor by the earth, because it is the footstool of His feet; nor by Jerusalem, because it is the city of the great King.

2nd Sam 6:17 And they brought the ark of YAHWEH in, and set it up in its place, in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it. And David caused burnt offerings to be offered before YAHWEH, and peace offerings.

Does the Bible also specify that the Holy Mountain of Yahweh is in Mount Zion, in the City of David, in Jerusalem?

Psa 48:1 Great is YAHWEH, and exceedingly to be praised in the city of our Elohim, His holy mountain.

Psa 48:2 Beautiful on high, the joy of all the earth, is Mount Zion, in the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

Psa 48:8 As we have heard, so we have seen in the city of YAHWEH of Hosts, in the city of our Elohim. Elohim establishes it forever.

Isa 66:20 And they shall bring all your brothers out of all nations, an offering to YAHWEH, on horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and on mules, and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem, says YAHWEH; as the sons of Israel bring the offering in a clean vessel to the house of YAHWEH.

Isa 27:13 And it shall be in that day, the great ram’s horn shall be blown; and those perishing in the land of Assyria and the outcasts in the land of Egypt shall come and shall worship YAHWEH in the holy mountain in Jerusalem.

Isa 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom YAHWEH has given to me are for signs and wonders in Israel from YAHWEH of Hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion.

Jer 8:19a Behold, the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people from a distant land! Is not YAHWEH in Zion?

Joel 3:17a And you shall know that I am YAHWEH your Elohim dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain.

Psa 132:13 YAHWEH has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling-place.

Psa 132:14 This is My rest till forever; I will dwell here; I have desired it.

Psa 146:10 YAHWEH shall reign forever, O Zion, your Elohim from generation and generation. HalleluYah.

COMMENT: There is absolutely no doubt from Scripture that there is one, and only one place in the entirety of the whole world that Yahweh chose out to put His name there and to dwell there for eternity. And that place is Jerusalem, and specifically, the place of Mount Zion, in Jerusalem, which is called in Scripture, the Holy Mountain of Yahweh.

Jerusalem, and in particular Mount Zion, was the very place of the Garden of Eden and the place that Yahshua reigned as the righteous priest, Melchizedek; and it was also where Abraham would have sacrificed Isaac, as well as the place that Yahweh dwelt in Solomon’s Temple.

Does the Bible give any scriptures of geographical clues to where the Garden of Eden was located?

Gen 2:10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it was divided and became four heads.

Gen 2:11 The name of the first was Pishon; it is the one surrounding all the land of Havilah where gold is;

Gen 2:12 the gold of that land is good; there is bdellium gum resin, and the onyx stone.

Gen 2:13 And the name of the second river is Gihon. It is the one surrounding all the land of Cush.

Gen 2:14 And the name of the third river is Hiddakel; it is the one going east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

COMMENT: The Gihon Spring located under Mount Zion, in the City of David, in Jerusalem, means gusher, because it is only one of about a dozen siphon springs in the entire world. This spring would gush like an oil rig several times a day to pump up water that would later be used for the Temple services, and sacrifices.

The Gihon Spring in Jerusalem is specifically mentioned in Genesis 2:13, as this spring led water down the aravah in the Kidron Valley 12 miles to the Dead Sea, which was not salt water at creation. This area where the Dead Sea is located is part of the great African Rift Valley about 12,000 kilometers, and the longest valley on earth. The water from the Gihon in Mount Zion would go to the lake of the Dead Sea and from there go south to the Pishon River, which today is a dry riverbed going toward Saudi Arabia; and it would also go north through the Rift Valley to its source in Turkey, where both the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers begin.

When the Garden of Eden is restored in the Millennium, will waters once again go forth from the Gihon Spring in Mount Zion, Jerusalem, to the Dead Sea?

Eze 47:1 And he made me turn back to the opening of the house. And, behold, water came out from under the threshold of the house eastward. For the face of the house is east, and the water came down from under the right side of the house, at the south from the altar.

Eze 47:2 And he led me out by way of the north gate, and led me around the way outside to the outer gate, by the way facing east. And, behold, water was dropping out of the right side.

Eze 47:3 When the man went out eastward, and the line in his hand, he measured a thousand cubits. And he passed me through the water, water to the ankles.

Eze 47:4 And he measured a thousand and passed me through the water, water to the knees. And he measured a thousand, and passed me through water to the loins.

Eze 47:5 And he measured a thousand, and there was a torrent which I was not able to pass, for the water had risen, water to swim in, a torrent that could not be passed.

Eze 47:8 And he said to me, These waters go out toward the eastern circuit, and go down into the Aravah, and enter the sea. They are brought out into the sea, and the waters shall be healed.

Eze 47:9 And it shall be, every soul that lives, which swarms in every place, there where the two torrents go, that soul shall live. And there shall be very many fish, because these waters shall come there. And they shall be healed. And all shall live there where the torrent goes.

Eze 47:10 And it will be, the fishermen shall stand on it; from En-Gedi even to En-Eglaim, a spreading place for nets shall be there; their fish shall be by its kind, like the fish of the Great Sea, very many.

Rev 22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, bright as crystal, coming forth out of the throne of YAHWEH and of the Lamb.

Rev 22:2 In the midst of its street and of the city, on this side and that side of the river, was a tree of life producing twelve fruits: according to one month each yielding its fruit. And the leaves of the tree were for healing of the nations

COMMENT: Just as it was in the Garden of Eden, during the Millennium, water from the Gihon Spring in Jerusalem will once again go from the Sanctuary of Yahweh though the Aravah in the Kidron Valley and down to the Dead Sea, and make the Dead Sea water fresh again, and healed.

Does the Bible actually mention that the Garden of Eden was in Yahweh’s Holy Mountain in Jerusalem?

Eze 28:13 You have been in Eden, the garden of Elohim. Every precious stone was your covering; the ruby, the topaz, and the jasper, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the turquoise, and the carbuncle, and gold; the workmanship of your tambourines and of your pipes in you. In the day you were created, they were prepared.

Eze 28:14 You were the cherub that protected with your outstretched wings and I had put you in the holy Mountain of Elohim, where you were. You walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Eze 28:15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, until iniquity was found in you.

Eze 28:16 By the multitude of your trade, they filled your midst with violence, and you sinned. So, I cast you profaned from the mountain of Elohim, and I destroyed you, O covering cherub, from among the stones of fire.

COMMENT: As we have already shown, Mount Zion, in Jerusalem, is the holy, set apart Mountain of Yahweh, and the ONLY place on earth that Yahweh has eternally set apart and put His name there to reign forever. The above scripture clearly shows that at creation, Lucifer, who later became Satan, was placed in the Garden of Eden, in Yahweh’s Holy Mountain; Mount Zion in Jerusalem.

Jerusalem and Mount Zion were set apart from creation, where Yahweh had the Garden of Eden, and also was the place where He would allow Solomon to build the Sanctuary (Temple) of Yahweh during his reign as king of Israel.

1st Ki 8:1 Then Solomon gathered the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the sons of Israel, to King Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of YAHWEH out of the city of David, which is Zion.

1st Ki 8:2 And all the men of Israel were gathered to King Solomon, in the month of Ethanim, at the feast, which is the seventh month.

1st Ki 8:3 And all the elders of Israel came in, and the priests lifted up the ark,

1st Ki 8:4 and brought up the ark of YAHWEH, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even those the priests and the Levites brought

COMMENT: The original hill of Mount Zion, where David captured and built his palace, was called the Akra (fortified) hill. Solomon built the Temple of Yahweh on the adjacent hill, called the Ophel hill. In between, there was a small valley that Solomon filled in, which was called Millo. By filling in the Millo, Solomon expanded Mount Zion and joined both hills together. That is why it states they took the Ark from the City of David from the Akra hill to the Ophel hill, just north of it. We can know that they had to be adjacent to each other as the City of David is clearly called Mount Zion; and also the adjacent Ophel hill, where the Temple was built that was connected to the Akra hill by Solomon, also became part of Mount Zion after the Millo was filled.

Psa 122:3 Jerusalem is built like a city that is joined to itself, together.

Was it commanded that the tribes of Israel had to come up to Jerusalem and appear before Yahweh, in His Holy City, at the three pilgrim feasts of Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot each year?

Deut 16:16 Three times in a year shall all your males appear before YAHWEH your Elohim in the place which He shall choose (Jerusalem): In the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and in the Feast of Weeks and in the Feast of Tabernacles. And they shall not appear before YAHWEH empty,

Exo 34:23 Three times in the year every male of yours shall be seen before the face of Adonai YAHWEH, the Elohim of Israel.

Isa 33:20 Behold, Zion, the city of our Holy Day meetings! Your eyes shall see Jerusalem, a quiet home, a tent that shall not be moved; its stakes shall not be pulled up forever, nor shall any of its cords be pulled off.

Psa 122:1 [A Song of Ascents; of David.] I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of YAHWEH.

Psa 122:2 Our feet shall stand within your gates, O Jerusalem.

Psa 122:3 Jerusalem is built like a city that is joined to itself, together.

Psa 122:4 There the tribes go up, the tribes of Yah; to the testimony of Israel; to give thanks to the name of YAHWEH.

COMMENT: It is very clear from Scripture that the original intent of the Holy Days was to appear before Yahweh in Jerusalem, where He dwelt, and to receive the blessings of being obedient to His Torah throughout the year.

There was no greater joy in an Israelite’s life than to go up to Jerusalem at feast time with their gift in their hand, and to have fellowship with their Elohim that they worship and pray to throughout the year. Words cannot even express the feeling that a pilgrim would have knowing that Yahweh’s very presence was literally dwelling over the Ark of the Covenant in His Sanctuary in Mount Zion, in Jerusalem.

And were the people supposed to bring up their set apart tithes and offering to Yahweh, to be blessed from His Holy City, Jerusalem?

Deut 16:17 but each with his gift of his hand, according to the blessing of YAHWEH your Elohim, which He has given you.

Psa 116:18 I will pay my vows to YAHWEH now in the presence of all His people,

Psa 116:19 in the courts of the house of YAHWEH; in your midst, O Jerusalem. HalleluYah!

Exo 34:26a You shall bring the first of the first-fruits of your ground to the house of YAHWEH your Elohim.

Were also the thrones of judgement for settlement of hard matters to be brought to Jerusalem for verdicts?

Psa 122:2 Our feet shall stand within your gates, O Jerusalem.

Psa 122:5 For the thrones of judgment were established there, the thrones of the house of David.

Deut 17:8 If a matter is too hard for you in judgment, between blood and blood, between cause and cause, or between stroke and stroke, matters of strife within your gates, then you shall rise and go up to the place which YAHWEH your Elohim shall choose (Jerusalem).

Deut 17:9 And you shall come in to the priest, of the Levites, and to the judge who is in those days, and shall inquire. And they shall declare the word of judgment to you.

Deut 17:10 And you shall do according to the word which they declare to you from that place which YAHWEH shall choose (Jerusalem). And you shall be careful to do according to all that they direct you.

Deut 17:11 You shall do according to the mouth of the Torah which they direct you, and according to the judgment which they deliver to you. You shall not turn aside from the word which they declare to you, right or left.

Deut 17:12 And the man who acts with pride so as not to listen to the priest who is standing to serve YAHWEH your Elohim there, or to the judge, even that man shall die; and you shall cut off the evil from Israel.

Deut 17:13 And all the people shall hear, and fear, and shall not presume any more.

COMMENT: When you find Yahweh’s pattern, then you can always follow that as truth, as Yahweh does not change (Malachi 3:6). This is what is called Judicial Order, or the natural order that Yahweh set at creation.

There is judicial order in the setting of the universe and the planets and the stars, and there is also judicial order in society, and government, and the family, and the home. Since Jerusalem is the center of the earth where Yahweh dwells, and is also ground zero to creation, it stands to reason that it would also be where Yahweh’s government and authority would come from. It is the place that King David and the kings of Judah ruled from, and it is also the place where Yahshua Messiah will reign from when He returns.

Does doctrine also originate and come from Jerusalem?

Mic 4:1 But it shall be in the end of the days, the mountain of the house of YAHWEH shall be established on the top of the mountains; and it shall be lifted up from the hills; and peoples shall flow on it.

Mic 4:2 And many nations shall come and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YAHWEH, and to the house of the Elohim of Jacob. And He will teach us from His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For the Torah shall go forth out of Zion, and the Word of YAHWEH from Jerusalem.

Mic 4:3 And He shall judge between many peoples, and will decide for strong nations afar off. And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, nor shall they learn war anymore.

Isa 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come and let us go up to the mount of YAHWEH, to the house of the Elohim of Jacob. And He will teach from His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For out of Zion the Torah will go forth, and the Word of YAHWEH from Jerusalem.

COMMENT: In the original Garden of Eden, in Jerusalem, Yahweh was to teach Adam His Torah, to take it out of Eden to the nations of the world. Yahweh set Jerusalem apart from creation as His eternal headquarters where His judicial order would come from. The kings of Judah ruled from Jerusalem, and the priests who taught the Torah (Malachi 2:7) also worked out of Jerusalem, where the Word of Yahweh was established.

Mal 2:7 For the lips of the priest should guard knowledge, and they should seek the Torah from his mouth; for he is the messenger of YAHWEH of Hosts.

Whenever there was a Biblical dispute that could not be handled locally, then the leaders would come up to the priests in Jerusalem for judgment. And Yahweh was very clear in Deuteronomy 17:10-11 that someone was supposed to listen to the judgment given by the priests in Jerusalem, regardless of whether someone personally agreed with it or not. People were not to do what was right in their own eyes.

Deu 17:10 And you shall do according to the word which they declare to you from that place which YAHWEH shall choose. And you shall be careful to do according to all that they direct you.

Deu 17:11 You shall do according to the mouth of the Torah which they direct you, and according to the judgment which they deliver to you. You shall not turn aside from the word which they declare to you, right or left.

Deu 17:12 And the man who acts with pride so as not to listen to the priest who is standing to serve YAHWEH your Elohim there, or to the judge, even that man shall die; and you shall cut off the evil from Israel.

Did the judicial order of the Torah, being brought forth from Jerusalem, and judgment, coming forth from Yahweh’s servants in Jerusalem, continue in the New Covenant?

Acts 15:1 And going down from Judea, some taught the brothers, saying, unless you are circumcised in the manner of the Torah, you cannot be saved.

Acts 15:2 Then dissension and not a little disputation with them having taken place by Paul and Barnabas, they appointed Paul and Barnabas and some others of them to go up into Jerusalem to the apostles and elders concerning this question.

Acts 16:4 And as they went through the cities, they delivered to them the need to keep the decrees that had been determined by the apostles and the elders in Jerusalem.

Acts 16:5 Then indeed the congregations were being made stronger in the faith, and increased in number day by day.

COMMENT: In the New Testament, just as in the Torah, the doctrine and Word of Yahweh was to come from His eternal headquarters in Jerusalem to the world. Also, in the New Testament, if there was a problem in the congregations that could not be handled locally, they were to come to the elders and leaders in Jerusalem for judgment. The Torah has always come forth from Jerusalem, and elders who were ordained and commissioned throughout the Diaspora, in the nations, were to learn and follow the doctrine coming from Jerusalem, and take this one united message worldwide. It was not the person serving who was being followed, but the fact that the doctrine came from Jerusalem almost 2,000 years ago, and we need to look for that same original doctrine of the Apostles today. Today, there is much confusion in doctrine due to the fact of people forgetting the Judicial Order of the word of Yahweh coming from Jerusalem that Yahweh set in Scripture.

Psa 137:5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget;

Psa 137:6 let my tongue cleave to my palate, if I do not remember you, if I do not bring up Jerusalem above the head of my joy

COMMENT: In the Internet world, today, which symbolizes the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, people will leave the judicial order from Jerusalem, and bring their own message, which is never sanctioned in Scripture.

Did Yahweh prophesy that He would have an end time work that would be a witness of His coming Kingdom and Millennium?

Mat 28:18 And coming up Yahshua talked with them, saying, All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Me.

Mat 28:19 Then having gone, disciple all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son,

Mat 28:20 and the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the completion of the age. Amen.

Mat 24:14 And this good news of the Kingdom shall be published in all the earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then, the end will come.

And does Scripture tell where this Good News message will originate from?

Luke 24:45 Then He opened up their mind to understand the Scriptures,

Luke 24:46 and said to them, so it is written, and so the Messiah must suffer, and to rise from the dead on the third day.

Luke 24:47 And repentance and remission of sins must be preached on His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

Luke 24:48 And you are witnesses of these things.

Acts 1:8 But when the spirit of Holiness comes upon you, you will receive the power, and you will be witnesses of Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

COMMENT: In 1931, the Church of God 7th Day unanimously decided from the council of elders, to send elder Andrew Dugger to Jerusalem to investigate for setting up the end time work of Elohim from Yahweh’s set apart city, Jerusalem. Elder Dugger was there for 6 months laying the foundation for that end time work, even when Israel was not yet a sovereign, end time, nation.

Later, in 1952, Elder Dugger returned to Jerusalem to continue the work he started in 1931, until his death in 1975. Yahweh later brought Elder Don Esposito to Jerusalem, starting in 1997, to lay the ground work for the end time restoration work of the Congregation of Yahweh Jerusalem, to restore the name of Yahweh to His Holy city Jerusalem; and the COYJ has been bringing the Good News of Yahshua from Yahweh’s set apart city, Jerusalem, to the nations for more than 22 years now.

Was it even prophesied that Yahweh’s end time ministry work from Jerusalem would also reestablish for the lost tribes of Israel to keep the 3 pilgrim feast days once again in Jerusalem?

Eze 36:37 So says Adonai YAHWEH: Yet for this I will be sought by the house of Israel, to act for them. I will increase them with men like a flock.

Eze 36:38 Like a holy flock, like the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so the wasted cities shall be filled with flocks of men. And they shall know that I am YAHWEH.

COMMENT: The end time ministry of The Congregation of Yahweh Jerusalem has been a fulfillment of this prophecy by being blessed to host the 3 pilgrim feasts of Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot for a full 19 year time cycle before now Yahweh taking them to the wilderness for sanctification from Satan’s society, and as a prelude to the closeness of the soon coming Kingdom of Yahweh. The Congregation of Yahweh Jerusalem, with around 250 elders and deacons worldwide, has also been placed by Yahweh for a witness of the end time restoration work of Yahweh that was prophesied to go forth from Jerusalem to the nations.

Yahweh works in the circular and His pattern does not change, and just as He had His judicial order coming from Jerusalem in the Garden of Eden, He also had it when King David reigned from Jerusalem with the rest of the kings of Judah, and also, with the original Apostles. Now, once again, in these last days, Yahweh has His judicial order coming from Jerusalem to the nations, in His end time restoration message from the Congregation of Yahweh Jerusalem. Again, it is not the importance of a certain individual being in Jerusalem that matters, but it is having the original Kingdom message of Yahshua, which was given in Jerusalem.

Does the Bible also state that in the last days that Yahweh would, as a sign to His remnant people, uncover the Tabernacle of David, in Mount Zion, where His very presence and the Ark of the Covenant once stood?

Amos 9:11 In that day I will raise up the Sukkoth of David that has fallen, and I will wall up its breaks. And I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as the days of old;

Acts 15:14 Simon recounted how even as at first Elohim oversaw to take a people out from among the nations for His name.

Acts 15:15 And with this agree the Words of the prophets, as it has been written,

Acts 15:16 After these things “I will return and will build again the tabernacle of David which has fallen, And I will build again the things which have been demolished, and I will set it up,”

Acts 15:17 So that YAHWEH will seek the remainder of mankind and all the nations, those who My name is called over them, said YAHWEH who made all these things.

Acts 15:18 The works of Elohim are known from eternity.

And did Yahshua also prophecy that He would give this sign of finding the Tabernacle of David to His end time remnant restoration work from Jerusalem, as a key for those outside to know this is Yahweh’s work, and join that work in faith?

Rev 3:6 The one who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says to the congregations.

Rev 3:7 And to the messenger of the congregation in Philadelphia, write: These things says the Holy One, the True One, “The One having the key of David, the One opening, and no one shuts; and shuts, and no one opens:”

Rev 3:8 I know your works. Behold, I have given a door being opened before you, and no one is able to shut it, for you have a little strength and have kept My Word, and have not denied My name.

COMMENT: Yahweh used Elder Don, from the Congregation of Yahweh Jerusalem, to reveal the place of the Tabernacle of David for a sign to His end time restoration work from Israel. In the Tabernacle, in Mount Zion, is the original standing stone where King David placed the Ark of the Covenant, where Yahweh dwelt.

Acts 15:16-17 states that Yahweh has placed the finding of the Tabernacle of David in these last days as a sign to the nations that His end time work from Jerusalem is truly from Him. Amazingly enough, since the finding of the Tabernacle of David and the announcement of it in 2014, thousands upon thousands of new brethren from all over the globe have come to faith and been baptized. At times, some of the baptism tours have been in the hundreds, and even thousands, as a witness of Yahweh’s redeeming of Mount Zion in these last days, and of the Philadelphia remnant that will be placed in Mount Zion with Yahshua at His return (Revelation 14:1).

Rev 3:10 Because you kept the Word of My patience, I also will keep you out of the hour of trial, which is going to come upon all the world in order to try those dwelling on the earth.

Rev 14:1 And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion! And with Him were a hundred and forty four thousands, with the name of His Father having been written in their foreheads.

Rev 14:2 And I heard a sound out of Heaven, as a sound of many waters, and as a sound of great thunder. Also I heard a sound of harpers harping on their harps.

Rev 14:3 And they sing as a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one was able to learn the song except the hundred and forty four thousands, those having been redeemed from the earth.

Rev 14:4 These are the ones who had not become defiled, for they are pure. These are the ones following the Lamb wherever He may go. These were redeemed from among men being the first-fruits to YAHWEH and to the Lamb.

Rev 14:5 And no decoy was found in their mouth, for they are unmarked before the throne of YAHWEH.

Is Yahweh also physically reigning in Jerusalem, and Mount Zion, in the end times?

Joel 2:32 For it shall be, all who shall call on the name of YAHWEH shall be saved. For salvation shall be in Mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, as YAHWEH has said, and among the survivors whom YAHWEH shall call.

Joel 3:16 And YAHWEH roars from Zion, and He gives His voice from Jerusalem. And the heavens and the earth quake. But YAHWEH is a refuge for His people and a fortress to the sons of Israel.

Joel 3:17 And you shall know that I am YAHWEH your Elohim dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain. And Jerusalem shall be a holy thing, and strangers shall no more pass through her.

Joel 3:20 But Judah will dwell forever, and Jerusalem to generation and generation.

Joel 3:21 And I will cleanse their blood which I did not cleanse. And YAHWEH is dwelling in Zion.

Isa 24:23 Then the moon shall blush, and the sun shall be ashamed, when YAHWEH of Hosts shall reign in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem; and before His elders is His glory

Amos 1:2 And he said: YAHWEH will roar from Zion and utter His voice from Jerusalem. And the pastures of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

Zec 1:12 And the Messenger of YAHWEH answered and said, O YAHWEH of Hosts, until when will You not have pity on Jerusalem, and on the cities of Judah, against which You have cursed these seventy years?

Zec 1:13 And YAHWEH answered (Aleph /Tav) the Messenger who was talking with me with good words, words of comfort.

Zec 1:14 So the Messenger who was talking with me said to me, Cry out, saying, So says YAHWEH of Hosts: I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion, with a great jealousy.

Zec 1:15 And with great anger I am angered at the haughty nations; in that I was but a little angry, and they gave help for evil.

Zec 1:16 So YAHWEH says this: I have returned to Jerusalem with compassions; My house shall be built in it, says YAHWEH of Hosts, and a line shall be stretched over Jerusalem.

Zec 1:17 Cry out again, saying, So says YAHWEH of Hosts: My cities shall again overflow with goodness, and YAHWEH shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

Zec 8:2 So says YAHWEH of Hosts: I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great wrath.

Zec 8:3 So says YAHWEH: I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. And Jerusalem shall be called a City of Truth, and the mountain of YAHWEH of Hosts, the Holy Mountain.

Zec 12:8 In that day YAHWEH shall protect around those living in Jerusalem. And it will be, he who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like Elohim, like the Messenger of YAHWEH before them.

Zec 12:9 And it shall be in that day, I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Is it also prophesied that in the coming Millennium that all nations will come up to Jerusalem at feast time to worship Yahweh, as Master of the Universe?

Zec 14:16 And it shall be, everyone who is left from all the nations which came up against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, YAHWEH of Hosts, and to keep the Feast of The Sukkot.

Zec 14:17 And it shall be, whoever will not go up from the families of the earth to Jerusalem to worship the King, YAHWEH of Hosts, there shall even be no rain on them.

Zec 14:18 And if the family of Egypt does not go up, nor come in, then the rain shall not be on them, but the plague with which YAHWEH shall strike the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of the Sukkot.

Zec 14:19 This shall be Egypt’s offense, and the offense of all nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Sukkot.

Does the Bible state that the Messiah will return to Jerusalem and dwell from Jerusalem, for the 1,000- year millennial reign?

Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of YAHWEH comes, and your spoil shall be divided among you.

Zec 14:2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem. And the city shall be captured, and the houses plundered, and the women raped. And half the city shall go into exile and the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Zec 14:3 And YAHWEH shall go out and fight against those nations, like the day He fought in the day of battle.

Zec 14:4 And His feet shall stand in that day on the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives shall divide from its middle, from the east even to the west, a very great valley. And half of the mountain shall move toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Zec 14:5 And you shall flee to the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah. And YAHWEH my Elohim shall come, and all the saints with You.

Zec 14:6 And it will be in that day, there shall not be light; the glorious ones will shrink.

Zec 14:7 And it will be one day which shall be known to YAHWEH; not day and not night, but it will be, there will be light at evening time.

Zec 14:8 And it shall be in that day, living waters shall go out from Jerusalem, half of them shall go toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea; in summer and in winter it shall be.

Zec 14:9 And YAHWEH shall be King over all the earth. In that day YAHWEH shall be united (echad), and His name united (echad).

Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and new earth. And the former things shall not be recalled, and they shall not go up on the heart.

Isa 65:18 However, be glad and rejoice forever in what I create. For, behold, I create in Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

Isa 65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people. And the voice of weeping and the voice of crying shall no longer be heard in her.

Isa 65:20 There shall not still be an infant of days, or an old man that has not filled his days. For the youth shall die the son of a hundred years, but the sinner the son of a hundred years shall be accursed.

Isa 65:21 And they shall build houses and live in them; and they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

Isa 65:22 They shall not build, and another live in them; they shall not plant, and another eat. For like the days of the tree are the days of My people; and My elect shall grow old to the work of their hands.

Isa 65:23 They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for terror. For they are the seed of the beloved ones of YAHWEH, and their offspring with them.

Isa 65:24 And it will be, before they call, I will answer. While they are speaking, then I will hear.

Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed as one; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And dust is the food of the snake. They shall not do evil nor destroy in all My holy mountain, says YAHWEH.

Does the Bible give any indication when the Messiah will appear and set up His Kingdom in Jerusalem?

Psa 102:12 But You, O YAHWEH, shall dwell forever, and Your memory to generation and generation.

Psa 102:13 You shall arise; have mercy on Zion, for the time to pity her, yea, the appointed time (mo’ed) has come.

Psa 102:14 For Your servants take pleasure in its stones, and pity its dust.

Psa 102:15 So nations shall fear the name of YAHWEH, and all the kings of the earth Your glory.

Psa 102:16 When YAHWEH shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His glory.

Psa 102:17 He will turn to the prayer of the destitute, and will not despise their prayer.

Psa 102:18 This shall be written for the last generation, and people to be created shall praise YAHWEH.

Psa 102:19 For He has looked down from the height of His sanctuary; YAHWEH looked from Heaven to the earth,

Psa 102:20 to hear the groaning of the prisoner, to set free the sons of death,

Psa 102:21 to declare the name of YAHWEH in Zion, and His praise in Jerusalem,

Psa 102:22 when the peoples and the kingdoms are gathered together to serve YAHWEH.

COMMENT: This is an amazing psalm and prophecy that actually starts with the Holocaust and the despair that Jews had at that time. Then, in verse 12, the narrative changes and Yahweh announces that the set time that He placed and appointed for Israel to be a sovereign nation again had come. He then goes on in verse 14 to mention His servants taking pleasure in the ancient remains of stones and dust, which clearly point to modern day archaeology, in which there are more than 40,000 archaeological sites in the land of Israel. It is also interesting to note that archaeology is only a science of about 140 years.

Then, in verse 16, it clearly states that when Jerusalem is rebuilt, then the Messiah will return. The ancient city of Jerusalem, which consisted of the City of David, has been being rebuilt for the last 22 years and is now restored, including the original Tabernacle of David where the Ark of the Covenant of Yahweh was housed. Also, the greater new city of Jerusalem is expanded and bigger by far than it has ever been with around one million people now living in there.

And verse 18, again, clearly states, that this is written for the last generation, showing that the recreation of Jerusalem, and the original Mount Zion, and the City of David, is a sign of prophecy that the Messiah is ready to return and rule from Jerusalem, as prophesied.

Is Jerusalem actually going to be the wedding dowry that Yahweh the Father will give Yahshua and His bride at Yahshua’s return?

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea no longer is.

Rev 21:2 And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from Elohim, having been prepared as a bride, having been adorned for her Husband.

Isa 62:1 For Zion’s sake, I will not be silent; and for Jerusalem’s sake, I will not rest; until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and Y’shua* as a burning torch.

Isa 62:2 And nations shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. And you shall be called by a new name which the mouth of YAHWEH shall name.

Isa 62:3 You also shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of YAHWEH, and a royal head dress in the hand of your Elohim.

Isa 62:4 You no longer shall be called Azubah (Forsaken); nor shall your land any longer be called Shemamah (Desolate). But you shall be called, Hephzibah (My Delight is in Her); and your land, Beulah (Married). For YAHWEH delights in you, and your land is married.

Isa 62:5 For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you. And as a bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so your Elohim shall rejoice over you.

Isa 62:6 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem. All the day and all the night they shall not always be silent; you who remember YAHWEH, keep not silent.

Isa 62:7 And give no rest to Him until He sets up and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Isa 62:10 Pass! Pass through the gates; prepare the way of the people! Raise up! Raise up the highway; clear it from stones; lift up a banner over the peoples.

Isa 62:11 Behold, YAHWEH has made it to be heard to the end of the earth; Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold! Y’shua* comes! Behold! His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.

Isa 62:12 And they shall call them, The Holy People, the Redeemed of YAHWEH. And to you it shall be called, Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.

COMMENT: Jerusalem is truly “The City of the Great King, Yahshua”. And Yahweh the Father will give over His eternal city, Jerusalem, as a dowry to Yahshua and His bride of the first-fruits at His return. Jerusalem will continue to be the throne and eternal capital of Yahweh and Yahshua throughout the Millennium and onward into the eternal Kingdom of Yahweh.

Jerusalem is truly not like any other city in the world, and has been an intermediary between heaven and earth, since Yahweh placed the Garden of Eden there at creation. Yahshua also dwelt there as Melchizedek, and King David placed the Ark of the Covenant there in his Tabernacle that has recently been uncovered. It was the headquarters of the kings of Judah and also the headquarters of the original Apostles, and now in these last days, the Word of Yahweh and His doctrine is once again coming from Mount Zion, and Jerusalem, and going throughout the world through the ministry of the Congregation of Yahweh Jerusalem.

Scripture also states that the end time demonic Beast will be allowed by Yahweh to make his 42 moth Kingdom in Jerusalem and in this end time the believers would flee Jerusalem to the wilderness during the reign of the beast .

Dan 11:16 But he who comes against him will do as he desires, and none shall stand before him. And he shall stand in the glorious land, and destruction shall be in his hand.

Mat 24:15 And when you see the sign of uncleanness and desolation, that was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, which will stand in the holy place. He that reads let him understand.

Mat 24:16 Then let those in Judea flee into the mountains;

As true covenant end time believers, we should be praying for Mount Zion and Jerusalem, Yahweh’s eternal capital,

Psa 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; those who love you shall prosper

Psa 122:7 Peace be within your walls; prosperity in your towers.

Psa 122:8 Because of my brothers and my companions, I will now say, Peace be in you.

Psa 122:9 Because of the house of YAHWEH, our Elohim, I will seek your good.

Points to Remember:

1)Jerusalem and Mount Zion was the very place that the Garden of Eden was placed, and was set apart at creation for Yahweh to dwell in as His eternal capital, and to put His name there.

2) Jerusalem and Mount Zion is the judicial city where judgment from Yahweh comes, and also where Yahweh’s Torah, and doctrines, come from to bring to the nations.

3) Jerusalem was the seat of authority during the days of King David and the kings of Judah, and also was the seat of authority for the leadership of the early New Testament congregation.

4) Yahweh prophesied that He would have an end time restoration work that would come from Jerusalem to host the pilgrim feasts for those still in Diaspora, and bring the Good News message of Yahshua to the nations in the last days.

5) Jerusalem, and Mount Zion, is the place where Yahshua will return to, and will reign over all the earth during His 1,000-year millennial reign, and forever.

6) In the end time, salvation is in Mount Zion, and Yahweh is still dwelling in MOUNT ZION, and JERUSALEM!
